Birdhouse Construction

Students learn basic woodworking through Birdhouse kits at CA Cycle. They assemble a structure, hammer nails, sand wood, prep and paint it.

Each birdhouse ends up being a unique representation of the personality of our students.

Donation FAQs

Since its inception as the Gear Zone, CA Cycle has donated hundreds of overhauled bicycles back into the community over the years.
Since 2005, CA Cycle has donated bikes to a cause that we call 'The Bikes for Cuba' program. The bikes are overhauled and given a 25 point maintenance.
