Local Donations

Since its inception as the Gear Zone, CA Cycle has donated hundreds of overhauled bicycles back into the community over the years. We have donated to many charitable groups and organizations such as schools, community centers, treatment centers and overseas. Some bikes act as presents to kids who wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford them, while others are used by adults as transportation to and from work.

International Donations

Since 2005, CA Cycle has donated bikes to a cause that we call “The Bikes for Cuba” program. The bikes are overhauled and given a 25 point maintenance. They are then boxed up and taken to Cuba by local families travelling there on vacation. CA Cycle donates several bikes a year to families in Cuba. These bikes are essential means of transportation for the families who receive them. Both students and staff are very proud of these efforts.
